South American Basketball Championship 1939

The Basketball South American Championship in 1939, the seventh Basketball South American Championship, took place between 14 and 30 April 1939 held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, which hosted the championship for the second time. Winner was the national team of Brazil that could for the first time win the title. For the third time in a row at the same time was the organizer of the Championship and winner of the tournament.
