South American Basketball Championship 1941

The Basketball South American Championship in 1941, the ninth Basketball South American Championship, took place between 18 and 26 April 1941 held in Mendoza, Argentina, which hosted the championship for the second time. Winner was the national team of Argentina, which was able to win the title for the third time. For the fifth year in a row at the same time was the organizer of the Championship and winner of the tournament.

Mode

Each team played against each opponent once so that each team five games ( a total of 15 games were held ) had to be completed. Pro victory, there were two points for a defeat at least one point. The team that was topped by the encounters, was South American champions in 1941.

Rankings and Results

Argentina thus secured unbeaten for the third time the title of the South American championship. Paraguay could not win a victory even in his second participation.
