South Kazakhstan Province

South Kazakhstan ( Kazakh Оңтүстік Қазақстан облысы; Russian Южно - Казахстанская область ) with a population of about 2.68 million inhabitants, the southernmost Oblys ( area ) of Kazakhstan. Capital is Shymkent.

Geography
