Southall

Southall is a district of the London Borough of Ealing in west London. The surrounding neighborhoods are Yeading, Hayes, Hanwell, Heston, Hounslow, Greenford and Northolt.

Southall is located on the Grand Union Canal, which connected London for the first time with the rest of the ever-growing canal system. He was the last channel that was used until the 1950s significantly to the transport of merchandise. In addition, the railway lines Great Western Main Line and Heathrow Connect pass through Southall and connect the district with the Paddington station to the west and to the east with Reading, Oxford, Newbury and Heathrow Airport. Southall has only one centrally located station.

The city is one of the most densely populated places of Asian- people outside the Indian subcontinent. Therefore, the Southall Rail Station is one of three railway stations in England who are bilingual in English and Punjabi labeled.
