The Spitzmeilen is a 2,501 m above sea level. M. high mountain in the Glarus Alps. It lies on the border of the Swiss cantons of Glarus and St. Gallen.

The Spitzmeilen is known for its imposing form, the actual summit Stock rises as a steep rock tooth from the underlying slopes. The summit consists of brown Liaskalk.

In the immediate north-west of the neighborhood is with 2'483 meters above sea level. M. somewhat lower Wissmilen, which over the Wissmilenpass on the Magerrain ( 2,524 m above sea level. North of the Spitzmeilen is the Flumserberg ski resort from where the summit can be climbed as a day trip. As a starting point for the commission can also at 2,087 m above sea level.
