Søren Larsen

Søren Larsen (born 6 September 1981 Køge, Denmark ) is a Danish football player who has a contract with Danish club Aarhus GF since 2011.

Career development

By 2005, Larsen played in Sweden Djurgårdens IF, before he moved to FC Schalke 04 for about 2.3 million euros. About his transfer fee, there was a heated argument between the Swedish Club and Schalke, because in his contract was a committed fee of approximately 1.1 million euros.

Reach him in his first five appearances for Denmark six hits. Larsen was therefore in the meantime as the " most effective Danish striker " for almost 100 years.

At FC Schalke 04 header and the ball strong striker scored in his first season ten goals in 30 Bundesliga games; his first " double " for Schalke, the gates number six and seven, Larsen celebrated on 11 February 2006 at the 7:4 home win against Bayer 04 Leverkusen. He also contributed two goals in the European Cup games of the season 2005/ 06 against AC Milan at Palermo and U.S..

A cruciate ligament part teaser at the start of the Bundesliga season 2006/ 07 the Danes threw back a long way. Overall, he came during the entire season only to eleven mostly short assignments. He never was in the starting lineup and scored no hits. His only achievement he celebrated in the UEFA Cup home game against French club AS Nancy, as it just before the end of the match with a header scored the goal of the day.

On 18 July 2008 he was transferred for a fee of three million euros to the French first division club FC Toulouse after not it past FC Schalke 04 has a reserve player.

On 31 August 2009 Larsen joined on loan for a year to MSV Duisburg. The Duisburg Larsen can bind with a purchase option in the long term to the association.

On 2 October 2009 Larsen scored in a home game against Union Berlin his first goals for MSV. He scored in the 28th, 48th and 84th minute to make it 3-1 home win. As of November, however, he fell injured almost half a year. On 3 April, he was in the match against Rot Weiss Ahlen his comeback, the first leg was to have been the last to date. After he had returned to the 2010/11 season to Toulouse, however, came only twice used, he moved to the winter transfer to Feyenoord Rotterdam.

On July 14, 2011 Larsen was presented as a new addition to the Danish first division side Aarhus GF.
