St. Clair (TTC)

St. Clair is an underground subway station in Toronto. It lies on the Yonge- University - Spadina line of the Toronto Subway, at the intersection of Yonge Street and St. Clair Avenue. The station has side platforms, is used daily by an average of 41,020 passengers (2009 /10).

It offers connecting flights to three bus lines and tram line 512 along the St. Clair Avenue. Nearby is the renowned Upper Canada College. The opening of the station on 30 March 1954 together with the portion Union - Eglinton Yonge Subway, the oldest subway on Canadian soil.
