St. Cloud is a city in Osceola County in the U.S. state of Florida with 35 183 inhabitants ( 2010).

Geography

St. Cloud is located approximately 30 km south of Orlando on the southern shore of East Lake Tohopakaliga.

Demographics

According to the 2010 census, the then 35 183 inhabitants distributed to 14,544 households. The population density was 1484.5 inh. / Km ². 82.4 % of the population were white, 5.8% African American, 0.4% Native American and 1.7 % Asian Americans. 6.2% were members of other ethnic groups and 3.4% in different ethnic groups. 29.2 % of the population were Hispanic or Latino.

In 2000, English was the mother tongue of 84.69 % of the population spoke Spanish 13.76 % and 1.55 % had a different mother tongue.

Traffic

The city is the U.S. Highways 192 and 441 as well as the Florida State Roads 91 (Florida 's Turnpike, a toll road ) and 500 crosses. The Orlando International Airport is located about 20 km north of the city.
