St. Thomas Mount -cum- Pallavaram (Tamil: பரங்கிமலை மற்றும் பல்லாவரம் Paraṅkimalai Marrum Pallāvaram [ paɾʌŋɡimalɛi mat ː ː a ː rɯm pal ʋəɾʌm ] ) is a garrison with its own local government ( cantonment board) in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is located in the suburban belt of Chennai (Madras ), the capital of the state, and belongs to the district of Kanchipuram. The population is around 44,000 ( 2011 census ).

St. Thomas Mount -cum- Pallavaram is located on the southwestern outskirts of Chennai. It has an area of 12.9 square kilometers and consists of two parts, St. Thomas Mount Cantonment in the north and Pallavaram Cantonment in the south. The two parts are separated by the Chennaier district Meenambakkam with the Chennai airport from each other spatially. At St. Thomas Mount Cantonment is one of the eponymous mountain St. Thomas Mount, where, according to tradition, the apostle Thomas is said to have suffered martyrdom. Since the expansion of the city in 2011 St. Thomas Mount is an enclave within the city of Chennai. The other part, Pallavaram Cantonment, located near the town of Pallavaram.

The Garrison St. Thomas Mount was established during the British colonial era in 1774 and is the second oldest of India. The garrison Pallavaram was founded in 1882. In 1905, the two garrisons were merged.
