Stacie Anaka

Stacie Anaka (born 5 September 1987) is a Canadian wrestler. It was 2013 Vice World Champion in the weight class up to 67 kg body weight.

Career

Stacie Anaka began as a teenager in 1994 at Reynolds Wrestling Club Victoria with the rings. After pursuing studies at Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, she was a member of the Burnaby Mountain Wrestling Club. Training was or will be by Jason Kerluck, Mike Jones and Justin Abdou. As an adult she wrestles with a size of 1.68 meters either in the weight class up to 63 kg in to 67 kg body weight.

The first success as a wrestler posed for Stacie Anaka one in 2005. It was Canadian Vice - Champion in the Junior Women in the weight class up to 65 kg this year. 2006 and 2007, she won the Canadian junior title in the weight class up to 67 kg or 63 kg. In 2007, she launched auich at the Canadian Championship of Women's and finished it in the weight class up to 63 kg to the 3rd place. Also from 2008 to 2013, she launched each year at the Canadian championship and always won this medal. Canadian champion was in 2009 in the weight class up to 63 kg and 2013 in the weight class up to 67 kg body weight.

Her international career began in 2006. She took part this year at the Junior World Championship in Guatemala City, but came there in the weight class up to 67 kg only on the 7th Place. Their first international medal she won then at the Junior World Cup 2007 in Beijing. She has attended there in the weight class up to 63 kg 3rd place. In 2009, she won her first medal at an international championship in the women. At the Pan American Championships in Maracaibo, she took it in the weight category 63 kg behind Elena Piroschkowa, United States and Katherine Vidiaux Lopez, Cuba, the 3rd place. The same place they occupied even at the Pan American Cup 2010 in Monterrey / Mexico. Again, Elena Piroschkowa and Katherina Vidiaux Lopez placed before her.

2012, Stacie Anaka tried to qualify for the Olympic Games in London. But you failed already in the Canadian Team Trials at the former World Champion Martine Dugrenier. But she came in September 2012 at the World Championships in Stathcona County / Canada in the weight class up to 72 kg are used, where they lost their first match against Maria Selmaier from Germany. Since these did not reach the final, she left and came only to 12th place.
