History

The Stadio Omobono Tenni was inaugurated in 1933 under the name Stadio Comunale with the game FBC Treviso against Udinese Calcio. In the 1950s, it could seat 12,000 spectators. On 5 October 1963, the stadium was renamed to commemorate the 1948 fatally injured motorcycle racer Omobono Tenni, who lived long in Treviso at Stadio Omobono Tenni. 1997 FBC Treviso rose to the B series, which is why the stadium was renovated. Since then provides the Stadio Omobono Tenni 9,435 spectators.

When the FBC Treviso for the season 2005/ 06 rose to the Serie A, the Omobono Tenni did not meet the necessary minimum requirement of Serie A, which is why Treviso fought out some of its home games, such as against Inter Milan at the Stadio Euganeo of Padua. After Fanprotesten against the unpopular move to Padua and some renovation work was but then again played at the Stadio Omobono Tenni, including against Juventus (0-1 ), where the audience number was increased to 9,996 by adding bleachers.
