Stan Pearson
Stanley Clare Pearson ( born January 11, 1919 in Salford, England, † February 17, 1997 in Alderley Edge, Cheshire ) was an English footballer.
Career
The Englishman was obliged in 1935 as an amateur from Manchester United. 1937 Pearson then got a professional contract with the Red Devils. He made his debut against FC Chesterfield 1937. During World War II he served in the British Army. It was 1948 English Cup and 1953 English champion. He finished his career in 1953 after the title. In the goalscorers list of ManUtd Pearson is with 148 gates at tenth place just two goals behind Ruud van Nistelrooy.
