Stanislav Kravchuk

Stanislav Mikhailovich Kravchuk (Ukrainian Станіслав Михайлович Кравчук; born September 25, 1978 in Chirchiq, Uzbekistan ) is a Ukrainian freestyle skis. He specializes in the discipline Aerials ( jumping).

Biography

Born in Uzbekistan Kravchuk occurred in the 1997 World Series for the first time internationally in appearance. His debut in the World Cup he had on 14 March 1997 at Hundfjälllet in halls, where he was eighth at once. In the years 1999 and 2000 he played no competitions. 2002 with a fifth place he achieved the best result in the Olympic Games. Also, he finished fifth at the World Championships in 2003.

On 5 December 2003 Kravchuk scored with 3rd place in Ruka first time a podium in a World Cup competition. Two more podiums get him in the World Cup season 2004/ 05, another followed in the season 2006/07. History's only World Cup victory he celebrated in Deer Valley on February 1, 2008. Kravchuk was in the 2008/ 09 season, two times on the podium in the season 2010/11 three times. In February 2012, he succeeded after more than four years of interruption of the second World Cup victory.
