Stanisława Prządka

Stanisław Prządka ( born May 6, 1943 in Karczmiska ) is a Polish politician, lawyer and since 2001 Member of the Sejm in the IV, V and VI. Legislature.

She finished her law degree in 1974 at the Faculty of Law and Administration at Warsaw University.

She taught music at an elementary school, after which it was from 1975 to 1980 secretary of the Municipality of Garwolin and 1980-1990 Head of City Administration. From 1990 to 2001 she headed the local branch of the Bank PKO BP.

In the parliamentary elections to the Sejm in 2001 and 2005, she was on the list of Sojusz Lewicy Demokratycznej ( Democratic Left Alliance - SLD) elected for the constituency Siedlce to Members of the Sejm. In the 2007 parliamentary elections it won with 12,099 votes on the list of Lewica i Demokraci ( Left and Democrats - LiD ) again a deputy's mandate. She is a member of the Sejm commissions for EU Affairs and Administration and Interior.

Since 22 April 2008, she is a member of the newly formed group Lewica.
