Staňkov (Jindřichův Hradec District)

Stankov ( German Stankau ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is situated 18 kilometers south of Jindřichův Hradec on ​​the Austrian border and is part of the Okres Jindřichův Hradec.

Geography

Stankov is located in the southwest of Javořická highlands on the edge of the Trebon basin of the Valley of the Koštěnický creek. The village is situated between the ponds Staňkovský rybnik and HEJTMAN. Southeast consists of migrant border crossing Chlum u Třeboně / blow to Austria.

History

Stankov was in the restricted area and many buildings were demolished.
