The Star Clipper and Star Flyer are two identical viermastige luxury cruise ships.
The 115 m long ships include the Monegasque shipping company Star Clippers SAM ( Société Anonyme de Monaco), are also of this bereedert and are registered under the Maltese flag. Each of the ships designed as Barkentine can accommodate up to 170 passengers.
The Star Flyer was considered the first of the now three sailing ships of the company ( the third ship is the larger Royal Clipper ) put into service in 1991, the same year followed by the Star Clipper. Both ships are mainly used for cruises in the Mediterranean and the Caribbean, in some cases there are also trips to the South Seas, as well as in the North and Baltic Seas.
