State Tower
The State Tower (formerly Royal Charoen Krung Tower, Thai: ตึก ส เต ท ทาวเวอร์ ) is a skyscraper in Bangkok and in 2007 after the Baiyoke Tower 2 and before the Empire Tower 1, the second tallest building in Thailand.
Features
The Thai architect Professor Rangsan Torsuwan made in the 1990s to the designs of the building and sat at the top of the tower a golden dome and viewing platform. The dome has a height of 30 meters.
The building land is used predominantly for homes, offices and showrooms. Also located in the State Tower, the 5- star hotel Lebua. A pleasant atmosphere, create the 40 -storey high atrium inside the building and an outdoor restaurant on the roof with views of the city.
Location
The tower is located between the Silom Road ( Silom Road), a main thoroughfare of Bangkok 's business district Bang Rak, and the Chao Phraya river.
