Empire Tower, Bangkok

The Empire Tower 1 ( Thai: ตึก เอ็ ม ไพ ร์ - t ʰ ɯk - emp ʰ ai ) is a skyscraper in Bangkok and currently after the Baiyoke Tower 2 and the State Tower, the third tallest building in Bangkok, and the fourth highest in Thailand.

Features

The building, completed in 1999 includes not only some stores and restaurants mainly offices and conference rooms. For the rapid transport people between floors provide 52 elevators. In the basement there are more than 2,500 parking spaces available. The entire building conforms to the latest technology standards with regard to telephone and Internet communications. The plans were made according to the American model, the guidelines for fire protection and the establishment of a security center are based on the U.S. regulations.

Location

The building is located on Thanon Sathon Thai (South Sathon Road ) in the district Yannawa. Particularly advantageous is the proximity to the skytrain station Chong nonsi, causing many commuters waive those arriving by car.
