Steffen Schneider

Steffen Schneider ( born June 9, 1988 in Haiger ) is a German footballer who is since 2011 at FC Gerolfing as a striker in the national League West under contract.

Career

Schneider arrived in 2007 from the U-19 division of the FC Bayern Munich to FC Ingolstadt 04, for whom he played in the 2007/08 season 21 games in the Regionalliga Süd. At the end of the season of FC Ingolstadt won second place in the table and rose to the 2nd Bundesliga. There, Schneider played in the first round of the 2008/09 season under coach Thorsten Fink, however, only three brief appearances with a total time of about 60 minutes. End of January 2009 he was until the end of the season to the former Regional competitors VfR Aalen, well, borrowed from the newly founded 3rd Liga. For the 2009/10 season he returned to FC Ingolstadt, but was not used in the first team of the third division. Then he moved into the winter break to the south- division side Bayern Alzenau for it until May 22 of 2010 ( 33 Matchday) 14 times and came into use on 15 May 2010 (32nd Round ) in a 2-2 away draw against SpVgg Weiden with the hit to the final score in the 87th minute and scored his only goal. With the relegation of his club at the end of the season Schneider left the club and joined the Bavarian league - Up Free TuS Regensburg. After just one season, he joined the Bavarian district Oberliga FC Gerolfing for whom he scored 17 goals in 27 games and contributed to the rise in the national league southwest.
