STEGAL

The Saxony-Thuringia natural gas pipeline ( STEGAL ) is a natural gas pipeline in Germany.

The STEGAL is a 313 km long, running in a west-east direction line since October 1991 with diameters of DN 800 ( in some sections: DN 1000) was built. Already in 1992 were carried out to customers in Saxony and Thuringia by the STEGAL first gas deliveries. The total completion in 1993, together with the expanded gas storage Rehden (1.5 billion cubic meters of working gas ) and MIDAL (619 miles) was completed.
