Stephan Daschner

Stephan Daschner (* August 5, 1988 in Ingolstadt ) is a German professional ice hockey player who plays for the EV Landshut of the German Ice Hockey League 2 at the position Defender since the 2013/14 season.

Career

Daschner began his career in the youth of the EV Landshut, where he was active with the youth team in the German junior league in the 2004/05 season. There the right shooter was among the team 's best defenders point internally, as he was able to achieve 15 points scorer in the 34 games. A year later, the right-handed shooter was first appointed to the senior squad, with whom he played from then on in the 2nd Bundesliga. Daschner was initially only on a bet. During 2006/ 07 the leaders of the Straubing Tigers were on the then 18 -year-old attentive and transferred him to the German Hockey League. Daschner graduated DEL five games in which he recorded an assist. He was then equipped with a mining license and was therefore also for his hometown club, the EV Landshut eligible to play.

After Daschners contract was not renewed at the Tigers at the end of the season 2007 / 08, he moved to the 2008/09 season in his hometown for the ERC Ingolstadt, where he again received a mining license and thus in the season 2008 /09 for both the ERC Ingolstadt as well as for the EV Landshut went on the ice. The right-handed shooter played since the 2011/2012 season for the Hannover Scorpions, before he returned in the 2013/14 season to his home at the Hockey EV Landshut. For the 2014/15 season he will wear in the German top flight again to the team of Düsseldorf EC.

Internationally

In summer 2008, Stephan Daschner was nominated for the German junior national team, with whom he participated in the World Cup in Bad Tolz in the same year. There he was able to celebrate with the German team move up to the A-WC. In five games, the defender scored seven points scorer and, furthermore, pointed a plus / minus statistics of 8.

Inline Hockey

Stephan Daschner participated with the German Inline Hockey National Team at the IIHF Inline Hockey World Championship in 2012 and was with the team runners-up. Reaching the final was the biggest success of Inline Hockey National Team.
