Elia Ostwald

Elia Ostwald ( born March 17, 1988 in Bad Muskau, GDR ) is a German professional ice hockey player who is under contract with EV Landshut from the DEL2 since July 2013.

Career

Elia Ostwald started his career in his home at the young foxes white water, for which he played from 2004 in the German junior league and received in the 2nd Bundesliga from 2005 first stakes in the professional team of the Lusatian foxes. For the season 2006/ 07 the Centre moved to the Berlin Polar Bears in the German Hockey League, but was also used as the cooperation partner, the polar bear Juniors, in the big leagues.

After he had played in 2007/ 08 a total of 44 DEL games in the season and also won the Brussels residents the German championship and the Cup, but in the squad of polar bears saw little chance of enough ice age, Ostwald decided in September 2008 to a change to Premier League rivals Hamburg Freezers. There he received first a contract until November 2008, which was extended to 2011. In his third year at the Hamburg striker came by mining license also at the Eispiraten Crimmitschau used. In May 2011, the native of Bad Muskauer of the Landshut Cannibals was signed.
