Stephen McNally

Horace Stephen McNally ( born July 29, 1911 in New York City, New York, † June 4, 1994 in Beverly Hills, California ) was an American actor.

Biography

McNally studied law at Fordham University in New York City and worked as a lawyer. In the late 1930s he turned, initially under the name Horace McNally, to acting in 1940 and gave his debut in Silent lips, in his film, he again played a role in 1948. In 1942 he moved to California to take there as a film actor foot. Initially only supporting roles he was offered. He was mainly occupied in Western, Thriller and War movies. In the late 1950s he was hardly involved even for film roles, and worked more in television productions, where he worked in various television series such as The Rockford Files numerous guest appearances - just call and Fantasy Iceland had. McNally's acting career ended in 1980, after he had participated in more than 100 film and television productions.

He was married to Rita Wintrich. The marriage produced eight children were born.
