Stijn Vreven (2005)

Stijn Vreven (born 18 July 1973 in Hasselt, Belgium ) is a former Belgian footballer and current coach.

Career

Vrevens professional career began with KV Mechelen, where he 20 -year-old made ​​his professional debut in 1993. After four seasons, he moved to KAA Gent. In Ghent he played until 1999 and then moved to Dutch club FC Utrecht. Here he had his most successful period, so he signed a contract at the 1 FC Kaiserslautern signed in 2003. The Palatines, however he could not prevail and only played eight league games in the season 2003/04. After the season he returned to the Netherlands to Vitesse Arnhem. Here he was able to fight for a regular place again.

Since his departure from Vitesse in 2005, he played for several clubs for a maximum of one year. Most recently, he had a contract with KESK Leopoldsburg.

In 2002 Vreven played twice for Belgium.

From 2012 to 2013 worked as a trainer Vreven at KFC Dessel Sport, since 2013 in Lommel United.
