Stile Libero is the eighth studio album by Eros Ramazzotti. It was released on 30 October 2000 by Sony BMG Music Entertainment. It was in Germany in 2001 double - platinum. The published on 7 November 2000 Spanish version entitled Estilo Libro was Ramazottis hitherto most successful album in the U.S., it debuted at number 15 of The Billboard Latin 50 and 2001 received platinum. The song Più che puoi is a vocal duet with Cher.

Recordings

The recording of the album took place at various recording studios in London, in the United States and Italy, was produced album of Ramazzotti using prominent producers such as Trevor Horn and Rick Nowels. On the recording session musicians involved were as keyboardist Greg Phillinganes, guitarist Michael Landau, bassist Nathan East and drummer Steve Ferrone.

Giuliano Benassi of laut.de criticized the publication policy of the record label that deliberately originally for spring 2001 announced album was put on the market in the fall of 2000 in order not to miss the holiday season. He writes that the album did not offer new: " the songs are again of love in all the changes, the voice is still nasal, the arrangements are unchanged Pop à la crème ". Jose F. celebrities from Allmusic, however, said that the album contains some of the best titles of the artist. In particular, the ballads, he emphasizes that have certainly heard on the previous publications of shortcomings, but at Stilelibero were the highlights. So are Un Angelo Non E, E Ancor Mi Chiedo and especially the last track Per Me Per Sempre " breathtakingly beautiful " and the bottom line the album is simply enchanting.
