Still D.R.E. is the total sixth single of American rapper Dr. Dre and the first single from his second studio album in 2001. It was published on 13 October 1999 and reached 4,000,000 copies sold in the U.S. quadruple platinum status. Commercially it is so to this day Dres successful single.

Background

The single was produced by Dr. Dre, Mel -Man and Scott Storch. Snoop Dogg took over the intro, the chorus and the outro. The song runs at a speed of 93.4 beats per minute. Each of the three verses lasts 16 bars and each chorus eight bars. The key of the song is A minor. The single was popular, helping the album to platinum status multiple, thereby Dre triumphantly returned to the top of the hip- hop scene. Still D.R.E. debuted at number 93 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United Kingdom it was successful and had the top ranking at No. 6 of the UK Top 40

The DOC, Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre driving in a low-rider car. Eminem has a cameo. He is chased by a group of women on the beach. Xzibit moves towards the end of the music video in a car and even Shaquille O'Neal can be seen.
