The Stimmersee is a in the years 1928-1934 under the direction of Peregrin tuner artificial lake in the municipality of Langkampfen near Kufstein. He is below the Pendling slightly above the Inn Valley. At the same time still a small dam were built with electricity plant and a lake house. During the Second World War there was a stop on the Unterinntalbahn for the lake.
Two small streams are the total inflow to Stimmersee. The only outflow is the Roche creek that flows a few kilometers further in Kufstein in the Inn.
The lake is a lake of Kufstein and Langkampfen. It has also become naturalized, that the eastern shore " Kufstein " and the western shore is called " Langkampfen page ". A beautiful walking and hiking trail around the lake and can be used as a starting point for a hike to Dreibrunnenjoch, to Thiersee or on the Pendling.
