Strathmiglo

Strathmiglo is a village in the Scottish unitary authority Fife. It is located about eight kilometers north- west of Glenrothes and 13 km south-east of Perth. In 2001 Strathmiglo recorded 922 inhabitants.

By Strathmiglo of Eden, the west created the neighboring Gateside by the confluence of two streams flowing. In earlier times the traders of Strathmiglo the nearby Falkland Palace supplied. The town developed in the 18th and 19th centuries as the site of the textile industry. By Strathmiglo A91 is connected to the road network. It once had its own railway station, which, however, no longer exists.
