Stružnice

Stružnice ( German Straußnitz ) is a municipality of Okres Ceska Lipa in the Liberec Region in the north of the Czech Republic.

The municipality is situated on the river Ploučnice ( Polzen ) and on the railway line from Benešov nad Ploučnicí to Ceska Lipa.

History

The first written mention of the village dates back to 1197th The place has been inhabited for more than 700 years and has always been a center of the region. To 1386 he was first mentioned. In the 15th century, he was raised under the rule of Wartenberg to the city, and over the centuries, the character of the city received. From the mid 19th century the village belonged to the district court or to the district Bohemian Bohemian Lipa Lipa.

Personalities
