Stu Wilson

Stuart Sinclair Wilson ( born July 22, 1954 in Gore, New Zealand ) is a former New Zealand rugby union player at the position of the outer three- quarter. His main job is working as a real estate broker.

Wilson went to the Wairarapa College in Masterton to school. 1973, he joined Wellington at the rugby club Wellington College Old Boys RFC, where he was soon appointed captain of the first team. In his youth he was also a player of the New Zealand U- 21 team (NZ Colts ).

In 1975 he was appointed to the Second Team Wellington RFU. After two games, he moved from there to the first team.

The following year, Wilson ( All Blacks ) was nominated for the Executive of the New Zealand national team. With her he toured in Argentina, where he ran aground in two winning games against the Argentine national team ( Pumas ). Then these two games, however, did not go as the official international matches in the standings.

In 1977 he toured with the All Blacks in Italy and France and graduated from there against the French national team his first two caps for New Zealand. In 1978 he was the New Zealand Rugby champion with the RFU Wellington by winning the National Provincial Championship ( NPC). He also defended the Bledisloe Cup against the Australian national team ( Wallabies ) and for the first time in the history of the All Blacks win a Grand Slam in the same year with New Zealand. In the years 1979 and 1980 he lost each with the national team the Bledisloe Cup to the Wallabies.

1981 Wilson was again as team captain with Wellington champion and won with his province against the Waikato RU also the Ranfurly Shield, which one but again lost after four successful defenses in 1982 at the Canterbury RFU. In 1981, he won the All Blacks also the international game series against the touring New Zealand in the South African national team ( Springboks ) after New Zealand chose two of the three matches for itself.
