Stuart Pigott

Stuart Pigott ( born May 26, 1960 in Orpington, London ) is a British wine critic, author and journalist. He is considered an unconventional wine critic and internationally as one of the best connoisseurs of German wine.

Life

Pigott studied from 1979 painting and art history in London at Goldsmiths College and at St. Martins School of Art After a year-long study break, during which he worked as a wine waiter in the restaurant of the Tate Gallery, he continued his studies at the Royal College of Art London continues.

His journalistic work that began in 1980 with contributions for a New York art periodical. From 1993, he worked again with painting.
