The Sturgeon River is a right tributary of the English River in the extreme western part of the Canadian province of Ontario.

The Sturgeon River forms the outflow of Lake Sydney. He leaves it on its southern shore and flows south through the Canadian Shield. It flows through a series of lakes, including Lake Right, Roger Lake, Fletcher Lake, Cabin Lake and Salvesen Lake. Between the lakes of the Sturgeon River overcomes several rapids.
