Stvolínky

Stvolínky ( German Drum ) is a municipality of Okres Ceska Lipa in the Liberec Region in the north of the Czech Republic. It is located in the Central Bohemian mountains in the valley of the creek Bobri ( Bieberbach ), about 10 kilometers southwest of Ceska Lipa ( Czech Lipa ).

History

The Church in Stvolínky is one of the oldest in the country. It was first mentioned in records in 1358, but stood next to her in the year 1197 a fortified house as the seat of a manor, the Bohemian magnate Hroznata, founder of the Premonstratensian monastery Tepl belonged. The fortress was largely demolished in 1664 during the construction of the new castle. 1859 were still Vorhaus and castle gate available. From the mid 19th century the village belonged to the district court or to the district Bohemian Bohemian Lipa Lipa.

Community structure

The municipality consists of the villages Stvolínky Kolné (piston), Novina ( Neuland), Stvolínecké Petrovice ( Petersdorf ) Stvolínky (drum ) and Taneček ( praise dance). Basic settlement units are Kolné, Maly boron ( Small Heath ), Stvolínecké Petro Vice, Stvolínky and Taneček.

The municipality is divided into the Katastralbezirke Stvolínecké Petrovice and Stvolínky.
