Subsignal

Subsignal is founded in 2007, progressive rock band, consisting of ( former ) musicians of Sieges Even and Dreamscape.

Band History

Subsignal was first founded in 2007 by the then victory -even members Markus Steffen and Arno Menses as a side project. After the dissolution of Sieges Even Subsignal became the main strip and to Roel Van Helden (Sun Caged ) and Ralf Schwager and David Bertok (both Dreamscape ) expanded.

The published in September 2009 debut album Beautiful & Monstrous was praised by the press. It was presented prior to the publication on the Night Of The Prog / Loreley Festival. After the release the band embarked on tours with Jane and Saga.

Recorded and produced the debut album in the coal cellar studio was using Kristian Kohlmann Lehner, who had already produced for Sieges Even.

On 30 September 2011 the second album was released, entitled " Touchstones ", which was again highly praised by the press and debuted at number 53 on the German album charts. The band played a European tour in the release week, which she has led, among other things, on the ProgPower Europe and to the progressive promotion festival.

In spring 2012, Roel Van Helden was replaced by the Dreamscape drummer Danilo Batdorf. The band completed a successful tour of Europe, which culminated in Mannheim Live recording of the concert. The live DVD Out There Must Be Something appeared in December 2012 and contains over 2.5 hours of live and bonus material.
