Südliches Anhalt (Verwaltungsgemeinschaft)

In the administration of Community Southern indication of the district of Anhalt- Bitterfeld, 22 municipalities were merged to perform their administrative business. My seat was in Weißandt- Gölzau. The management community was formed on 1 January 2005 from the communities of the disbanded governing communities Anhalt- South, Fuhneaue and Upper Ziethetal (except Libbesdorf ). At the same time the launch of three incorporations: Cosa by Prosigk, Gnetsch after Weißandt- Gölzau and Cösitz after Zoerbig in the former neighboring district Bitterfeld.

On March 1, 2009 Schortewitz was incorporated into the city Zoerbig. On 1 January 2010 made ​​all other communities except Görzig, Gröbzig and Piethen the unified community Southern Anhalt, the co-administered the three communities until their incorporation on September 1, 2010.
