Suleiman I of Persia

Safi II or I. Sulaiman (* 1647, † 29 July 1694 in Isfahan, buried in Qom ) was from 1666 to 1694 Shah of Persia.

Safi II was the son of Abbas II and the Circassian Nikahat Khanum and thus a ruler from the dynasty of the Safavids. He succeeded his father on October 2, 1666 Safi II on the throne.
