Sulzemoos

Sulzemoos is a municipality in the western district of Dachau ( Regierungsbezirk Oberbayern ), is formed directly at the motorway 8 Sulzemoos together with the communities Odelzhausen and Oberpfaffenhofen at the Glonn the administrative community Odelzhausen.

History

Sulzemoos belonged to the Barons of Geeböck. The village was part of the Electorate of Bavaria and formed a closed Hofmark whose seat was Sulzemoos.

Incorporations

On 1 May 1978, the formerly independent communities Einsbach and Wiedenzhausen were incorporated.

Traffic

Through the municipal area, the Federal Highway 8 runs; where there is the connection point Sulzemoos.

Sulzemoos is in the territory of the Munich Transport and Tariff Association. The bus lines 703 and 721 connect the city with the weekdays is 16 km from the district town and Dachau station on the railway line Ingolstadt- Munich, from where the line S 2 of the Munich S-Bahn travels to the provincial capital. Bus number 732 runs weekdays on the motorway 8 jump to about 23 km from the train station Munich -Pasing.

The nearest railway stations are out of Sulzemoos Maisach, about 10 km south located at the Munich S -Bahn line 3, and dirt road, about 9 km northeast of Sulzemoos on the railway line Dachau Altomuenster, the so-called line A.
