Sundbybergs IK

Sundbybergs IK is a Swedish sports club based in Sundbyberg. The club is best known for its women's soccer team and his Bandyabteilung who played each class. The men's soccer team competed in a total of 22 seasons in the second division.

History

Sundbybergs IK was founded on April 9, 1893 and was originally conceived as a club for gymnastics and athletics. 1904 formed the Association the football department, four years later, the Bandyabteilung arose. The handball team was founded in 1943 in the fiftieth year of existence, and a year later the Hockey Section of the Club was formed. In 1963, the bowling department was founded.

1924 belonged Sundbybergs IK of the founding members of Division 2, the second- highest division in Sweden.
