Sungho County

Sungho - guyŏk is a district of the North Korean province of Hwanghae- pukto. By 2010, he was a city district of Pyongyang.

The district lies between the bifurcation of the Taedong - gang and the Nam. It is bordered on the north by the district Samsŏk - guyŏk, on the east by the county Kangdong -gun and on the south by Sangwon -gun and Sadong - guyŏk.

History

Sungho - guyŏk was established in September 1959 as a municipality of Pyongyang and spun off in 2010. The carve- Sungho - guyŏks was due, according to South Korean human rights organizations to the food shortages. The population of the capital should have been reduced with the assignment to supply shortages to be able to at least provide the people in the downtown area sufficient.

Administrative divisions

Sungho - guyŏk is divided into 12 administrative units. The district Sungho is again divided into two administrative units.
