Svárov (Uherské Hradiště District)
Svárov ( German Swarow ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located eleven kilometers north of Uherský Brod and belongs to Okres Uherské Hradiště.
Geography
Svárov is located in the southwest of Vizovice mountain country. The village is located on the left side above the valley of Zlámanecký creek in the source dump of a small tributary. To the northeast, the Doubí collected ( 429 m ) in the east of Pasecky Kopec (377 m ), and southeast of Kopec ( 341 m).
Neighboring towns are Zlámanec and Paseky in the north, Doubravy, Doubí and Krasnovy in the northeast, Paseky Hrivinuv Újezd and Velky Ořechov in the east, Kelníky the southeast, Částkov in the south, Nedachlebice, Malá Strana and Bílovice the southwest, Pec pod and Březolupy in the west and Komarov and Šarovy in the northwest.
History
According to legend, the festivals Swarow between the 10th and 11th century by Jakub Svárlivý, progenitor of the Moravian Vladikengeschlechts Svárovský to have been created by Svárov. The first written mention of the village was Swarow 1375th During the Bohemian- Hungarian power struggles for the crown of Bohemia, the festivals Swarow 1468-1470 was burned along with the villages Swarow and Zlámaný Újezd . Then Swarow long remained without form, and was eventually resettled in 1597. In 1647 the estate Swarow has been connected to the rule Březolupy. Until the mid- 18th century, the inhabitants were Protestant, only then to Catholicism prevailed. From 1800 the village children in Bílovice were taught later in Zlámanec. Began in 1830 in Březolupy the construction of a new church, from the places Šarovy, Zlámanec and Swarow whose construction had previously been aimed at a more central place between the villages. Until the mid-19th century Swarow remained subservient always Březolupy.
After the abolition of patrimonial Svarov / Swarow formed in 1850 a municipality in the district team Uherské Hradiště. Since 1893 the place name Svárov is needed. In the same year also a school was built.
