Sven Lundgren

Sven Lundgren ( Sven Emil Lundgren, born September 29, 1896 in Bromma, † June 18, 1960 ibid ) was a Swedish middle and long distance runners.

At the 1920 Summer Olympics in Antwerp, he was fifth over 1500 meters and reached about 800 m the semi-finals. In the team race over 3000m he came to 13th place (considering the worst scores 10th place ) and won with the Swedish team bronze.

In 1924 he retired from about 800 m in the semi-finals and in the 3000 -meter team race in the lead at the Olympic Games in Paris.

The four times he was national champion over 800 m ( 1919-1921, 1923) and more than 1500 m ( 1919-1921, 1924).
