Světce

Světce ( German Swietze ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located 15 km north-west of Hradec Jindřichův and belongs to Okres Jindřichův Hradec. The municipality has approximately 140 inhabitants.

Geography

Světce is located in the southern part of the Bohemian- Moravian Highlands in the valley of Direnský creek. South-east rises the 692 m high Najdecké Čihadlo.

Neighboring towns are Drunče in the north, and Mnich Rosička in the northeast, Horni Radouň in the east, in the southeast Najdek, Nedbalov in the south, southwest, and Brezina Deštná in the northwest.

History

Was first documented the village in 1255.
