Sweden men's national volleyball team

The Swedish national volleyball team of men is a selection of the best Swedish player that the Svenska Volleybollförbundet represented in international tournaments and international matches.

History

World cup

Sweden took in 1990 for the first time at a World Volleyball Championships in part and finished tenth. Four years later, the Swedes occupied the 13th place. Then they could not qualify.

Olympic games

The only Olympic tournament with Swedish participation there was in 1988 in Seoul. Sweden reached the seventh place.

European

In the first two appearances at a European Volleyball Championship Sweden 1967 and 1971 were not on the positions 16 and 17 also. In 1985, she returned in ninth, and two years later they were in fourth place already close to the medals. 1989 in their own country, they finally reached the final against Italy. Then there were two ninth places.

World Cup

The World Cup took place without previously Sweden.

World League

In the World League Sweden has also not played.

Europe League
