Swen Gillberg

Swen Gillberg is an American film technician who specializes in visual effects and was nominated for an Oscar in 2012.

Life

Gillberg has a bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering from the University of California at Los Angeles. He joined in 1997 at Digital Domain and has since worked on 19 films as visual effects supervisor. His most successful work is the film Real Steel, for which he was nominated for an Oscar in 2012 for the first time in the category Best Visual Effects.

Gillberg currently resides in Los Angeles.
