Święchowo

Święchowo ( German Friedrich field, Kasch. Swiãchówó ) is a small settlement in the Kashubian Polish Pomeranian Voivodeship and is part of the municipality Czarna Dąbrówka ( Black Damwerkow ) in Bytowski powiat ( county Buetow ).

Geographical location

Święchowo is located in the south bank area of ​​Lupow ( Łupawa ) on a side street that connects Globino ( Gumbin ) in the province road 210 and Dobieszewo ( United Dübsow ) with Podkomorzyce ( Niemietzke, 1938-1945 Puttkamerhof ) on the province road 211. A rail connection does not exist.

History

The former Friedrich field was created in the 17th century as a sheep farm and was around 1784 from a Vorwerk, four Kossäten and four Büdnern. Until 1945 it was a part of the community New Jugelow (now Polish: Gogolewko ) and in its history with the closely related of New Jugelow. It was part of the official and the civil registry district Lupow ( Łupawa ) in the district of Stolp in Pomerania Region of the Prussian province of Pomerania.

Since 1945, the now -called Święchowo place is Polish and belongs to the Gmina Czarna Dąbrówka in powiat Bytowski in the Pomeranian Voivodeship ( 1975-1998 Voivodeship Stolp ). Here now live 19 inhabitants.

Church

Ecclesiastical belonged Friedrichsfelde to 1945 for the evangelical parish Lupow ( Łupawa ) in the Church Stolp - old town in the ecclesiastical province of the Church of the Old Prussian Pomerania Union. Last German clergyman was Rev. Dr. Gerhard Gehlhoff.

School

In Friedrichsfelde there was until 1945 an elementary school, in 1932 a teacher taught 26 school children. Last German school teacher holder was Garmatz.
