Swinford
Swinford (Irish Béal Átha na Muice ) is a town in Ireland. It lies in the east of County Mayo in the province of Connacht on a tributary of the River Moy. In the town of 1,502 inhabitants ( 2006).
Traffic
Swinford is located on the National Road N5 ( Westport Longford ) and N26 ( Ballina - Swinford ). On 1 October 1895, the city received a railroad connection. On June 17, 1963, the people and was set on November 3, 1975, the total traffic. Currently, a reactivation of the route is planned.
