Switzerland women's national volleyball team

The Swiss national volleyball team of women is a selection of the best Swiss volleyball player, who represents the Association Swiss Volley in international tournaments and international matches.

History

The Swiss reached the 13th place at the European Volleyball Championship in 1967. Four years later she was twelfth. They could never qualified for a World Volleyball Championships or Olympic Games. At the World Cup and at the World Grand Prix, they have also not yet played. With the award of the European Women's Volleyball in 2013 to Switzerland and Germany, the Swiss national team qualified automatically as an organizer and thus came to the third European Championship participation, which she finished in 13th place.
