Sydney Chaplin (actor)
Sydney Earle Chaplin ( born March 31, 1926 in Los Angeles, California, † March 3, 2009 in Rancho Mirage, California ) was an American film actor.
Life
The second son of actor couple Charles Chaplin and Lita Grey launched after considerable problems at school because of lack of discipline and service in the U.S. Army his career alongside his father in the movie spotlight. This was followed by numerous appearances in film and television productions. Another appearance of his famous father's side he had in 1967 in The Countess of Hong Kong.
Besides Sydney Chaplin also appeared on Broadway in 1957 and won the Tony Award for Bells are ringing. 1964, the actor on the side of Barbra Streisand in Funny Girl was nominated for a Tony.
In 1977 the artist moved back into private life.

Sydney Chaplin was married three times, most recently in 1998, with Margaret Beebe. In the 1950s, the actor made on the basis of his affair with the actress Kay Kendall stir.
