Syðradalur
Syðradalur [ si ː ˌ ɹa dɛalʊɹ ] (Danish: Sydredal = South Valley ) is a place of the Faroe Islands on the east coast of the North Island Kalsoy.

Syðradalur is the southernmost town on Kalsoy. It was founded in 1812 by residents of the town Blankaskáli that was previously destroyed by a landslide. It is assumed that was settled at the site of the present town Syðradalur in the 16th century. However, it is not known why the place was abandoned later.
