Tadas Papečkys

Tadas Papečkys ( born September 28, 1978 in Marijampolė ) is a Lithuanian footballer. He plays since 2010 JK Kalev Sillamäe in the Meistriliiga, the highest Estonian league.

Career

Papečkys began his career with FBK Kaunas. In his debut season, the club fifth in the league was. After the third place in 1998/99 he moved in 1999 to hire VMFD Zalgiris Vilnius, with which he reached the second place in the final table, behind his parent club Kaunas. Then he returned and in 2000 and 2001, Lithuanian Champion, and 2001 Cup Winners' Cup. It was awarded to Russia Anzhi Makhachkala, but he left after finishing his duty game 2002. He remained until 2005, Kaunas, where two more league titles and one Cup victory followed. In 2006 he moved to FK Šilutė with which it reached number nine in Lithuania.

2007 Papečkys went again abroad and signed with FK Riga in Latvia. He stayed only half a year before moving to Gornik Zabrze in Poland. After that he played in Łódzki KS and in the fall of 2009 at Gornik. Since January 2010, the Lithuanians stands at JK Kalev Sillamäe in Estonia under contract.

Internationally, he has played seven times for Lithuania, his debut was in 2005.
